What is Incremental Epic Hero 2?

Incremental Epic Hero 2 (IEH2) is a free-to-play idle/incremental RPG where you develop multiple heroes, collect equipment, explore dungeons, complete quests, capture monsters, build your town, and unlock increasingly deep progression systems.

Why is IEH2 launching in Early Access?

IEH2 is already a mature and fully playable game with years of development, updates, and content behind it.

However, we do not consider its journey finished.

Idle and incremental games are especially well suited to long-term development, where new systems, balance improvements, quality-of-life features, and additional content can continue to make the experience better over time.

We want the Epic Games Store Early Access period to be another opportunity to develop IEH2 together with its players, listen closely to feedback, and continue refining and expanding the game before we consider this next stage of development complete.

What is included in Early Access?

The Early Access version includes the full core IEH2 experience and years of accumulated content.

Players can develop six unique heroes, explore the world, complete quests and dungeons, collect and upgrade equipment, capture monsters, use Alchemy, develop their Town, progress through Rebirth and World Ascension systems, and experience extensive endgame content.

The Epic Games Store version also includes our latest major content, World Ascension Tier 3, which introduces run-based, roguelite-inspired challenges, Relics, Fractures, and new long-term progression systems.

We will continue adding improvements, balance adjustments, quality-of-life features, and additional content throughout Early Access.

What is the current state of the product?

IEH2 is already fully playable and contains a large amount of content, including hundreds of hours of progression and multiple endgame systems.

The game has been continuously developed and expanded for several years, so this Early Access release is not the beginning of development.

Instead, our focus during this phase is to continue polishing the experience, improving existing systems, responding to player feedback, balancing long-term progression, and developing further content.

Players should expect a complete and stable core experience, while also seeing the game continue to evolve.

Will I have access to the product during the entire Early Access phase?

Yes.

Once you add Incremental Epic Hero 2 to your Epic Games Store library, you will continue to have access throughout the entire Early Access period and after the game transitions out of Early Access.

IEH2 is free to play, so there is no Early Access purchase required to continue playing.

How will player feedback influence development?

Player feedback has always been an important part of IEH2's development.

Many systems, balance changes, quality-of-life improvements, and new ideas have been shaped by discussions with our community.

During Early Access on the Epic Games Store, we plan to continue listening to player feedback, bug reports, suggestions, and gameplay experiences as we refine existing systems and decide how the game should continue to grow.

We want IEH2 to evolve together with the people who play it.

How long will IEH2 remain in Early Access?

We do not want to set an exact date yet.

Our goal is to leave Early Access when we are satisfied that the Epic Games Store version has been thoroughly refined through player feedback and that the improvements and content planned for this stage of development are in a state we are happy to call complete.

Development will continue after that point as well. Leaving Early Access will not mean the end of updates for IEH2.
