How is AI used in the gameplay?
The game doesn't use AI/LLM as such; instead, it uses a small embedding model that turns text into a vector, which later on is used to determine the change in the world's state. If you're using voice, the text is extracted via a small whisper speech-to-text model. Other than that, the number of assets was generated using AI, as mentioned above.
What technology powers the AI?
Credit for the audio-to-text model goes to OpenAI.
Credit for the sentence embedding model paraphrase-multilingual-mpnet-base-v2 goes to sbert.net.
Other credit where it's due:
Audio effects, voice lines—11labs, music—Suno, lipsync—NVIDIA's audio2face, body animations - Move AI.
How is content moderated?
Content isn't generated dynamically. There's a consent form that allows players to anonymously share their transcripts. This data is processed to determine how players approach criminal cases, and later, via updates, the game is enriched with this feedback.
Is there a way to report or block unwanted content?
The 'AI' mechanism is the very core of the gameplay; if somebody doesn't tolerate AI-generated content, they should refrain from the purchase.
Depending on how the player handles the conversation, responses can include potentially derogatory statements. The best way to avoid mild profanities is a calm and cultured approach.
Why Early Access?
The quality of responses depends largely on the dataset the game operates on. Early Access allows the dataset to grow and the overall quality of experience to improve.
How long is the product in Early Access?
Less than a year.
How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?
As an interrogator you will face a number of people to interrogate and cases to solve.
All interactions with suspects and supporting cast are defined by a dataset. As the dataset grows, so will the quality of player's experience. Different approaches to solving cases will be addressed with player's feedback.
What is included in Early Access and what is the current state of the product?
The Early Access version includes all core features and cases, and the overarching mystery can already be solved. However, the experience may be rougher around the edges compared to the full release.
For a full list of features, refer to the 'About This' section.
Will the price change when the product leaves Early Access?
The price will rise only if there is a significant improvement in quality during Early Access.
Can I provide feedback and bug reports?
The game includes a way to share anonymous transcripts, provided consent, this directly helps in expanding both dataset and interrogation design. Players tend to approach suspects in many, creative ways, and the game should expand in respect to that.
Other than that feedback given from the community will be taken into account during development of final release.
Is my progress saved between updates?
Yes.
How often do you update the product?
On a monthly basis.
Will I have access to the product during the entire Early Access phase?
Yes
