Roguelike Elements

In Runeroots TD, no two runs are the same! The enemy path is randomized, and so are the resources you can gather from each tile. The enemies and bosses you will face are also different each run. Learn their weaknesses, and react by building the perfect defensive setup, or use your rune powers if you are in a bind!

Choices Matter

Periodically throughout each run, you can pick various types of upgrades. Perks that modify a specific tower type, items that enhance a single tower, or specials that are global modifiers drastically changing the way each run is played. Do you make one super tower? Or spread the perks across many different towers?

Rebuild Your Home

Level up your town as you play! The town evolves over time and unlocks new features to use on your next run.

Strategize With Runes

Each tower has two rune traits. Pairing up towers within the same rune trait grant them powerful bonuses. With 8 different rune traits, there are plenty of options to mix and match. Plan ahead to build the ultimate combo!

Two Unique Game Modes

1) Adventure Mode sees you travelling across many tiles and 3 acts building the perfect run. You get to choose your flight path. Should you visit a rune monument to gain a rune power, or grab a treasure chest instead? Or visit the blacksmith and craft upgrades for your towers!

2) Mastery mode gives you two massive tech trees to progress through. Constantly evolve your town's technology so you can progress further and further! How many waves can you defeat?
