Why is SummaGrande in Early Access?
SummaGrande is a maths card game built around one idea: arithmetic gets easier when you are trying to beat someone. The core loop works today, but the game grows best with real players. Early Access lets us see which modes people actually return to, where the difficulty curve breaks, and what classrooms need that we have not thought of yet. Feedback from this period shapes what we build next.
How long will SummaGrande be in Early Access?
We expect roughly 15 months, though this depends on what feedback shows us. We would rather leave Early Access with a game that is genuinely finished than exit on a date we announced too early. Development is continuous, with regular updates throughout.
How will the full version differ from the Early Access version?
We plan to expand in three directions:
• More game modes and match formats beyond the current ruleset
• Deeper classroom and league tools for teachers running group sessions
• Additional themes, mentors, and cosmetic content
We also intend to broaden the subject matter beyond arithmetic. Nothing here is a promise of a specific feature on a specific date — plans change as we learn.
What is the current state of the Early Access version?
SummaGrande is playable and complete enough to enjoy today. Available now:
• Full card-game ruleset with multipliers and scoring
• Online and local multiplayer for 2 players
• Tutorial mode
• Supervisor mode for running matches with a group
• Multiple visual themes and a progression system
• Cross-platform play across Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS and Android
Expect rough edges. Some interface text is still being translated, and you will occasionally meet a bug. Please report what you find.
Will the price change after Early Access?
The price may increase when SummaGrande leaves Early Access, reflecting the additional content added during that period. Anyone who buys during Early Access keeps access to the full release at no extra cost.
How can I give feedback?
Feedback genuinely changes what we build — SummaGrande is made by a small team, and we read everything. You can reach us at [email protected], or through the discussion pages on the store. We are especially interested in hearing from teachers using the classroom mode, and from players who find the difficulty poorly tuned in either direction.
Will I have access to the product during the entire Early Access phase?
Yes. Buying SummaGrande during Early Access gives you permanent access to the product, including every update released during the Early Access period and the full version when it launches. There is no separate purchase and no subscription.
