あなたは、深い海の底にある、遠く離れた海中施設で働いています。
ほとんどの日々は変わり映えしません。設備の点検、故障したシステムの修理、メンテナンス依頼への対応、そして施設を正常に稼働させ続けること。静かな仕事。地上からは遠く隔絶された場所です。
けれど最近、何かがおかしくなり始めています。
施設内に響く奇妙な音。理由もなく故障する設備。どこか落ち着かない会話。そして時折、外に広がる深海の闇が、本来よりもずっと気になるようになっていきます。
『The Deepest Shift』 では、海中施設の内外で日常的な業務をこなしながら、あなたの周囲で少しずつ何かが変わり始めます。深海を巡り、損傷したシステムを点検し、どこか辻褄の合わない出来事の意味を探ってください。
時には、あまり多くを問いたださない方がいいこともあります。
