鐵路愛好者都知道，Glossop Line 是前 Woodhead Line 的遺跡。這條從 Hadfield 截斷的舊鐵道，具備蒸汽時代的直流電氣化技術在當時可謂十分先進。時至今日，仍可見到當時因這項技術留下的舊式龍門架，並且已經依照今日交流技術所需而修改成全新面貌。享受 Woodhead 的遺跡及其基礎設施，包括至今仍在使用的車站。
