驾驶南加州都会铁路简约独特的 F125 型柴油机车车队，提供旅客通勤运输服务。 F125 “Spirit”首建于 2015 年，其时尚的流线型设计灵感来自于欧洲的机车设计。 操控由驾驶室和两列 Rotem 通勤型电力动车构成的列车组，便于用推拉的方式进行双向行驶。 其采用了和 F125 型一样大胆的双层设计，既可高效运行于空间紧凑的洛杉矶市郊，又能行驶在索莱达峡谷的乡间旷野中。
体验山口铁路运输的挑战与通勤客运服务时刻表带来的压力。 按照时刻表运行列车，挑战纽霍尔山口之类的险峻地形，穿行于洛杉矶县区，同时在列车前部或驾驶室中享受阳光下的长途驾驶，欣赏迷人的景色。
