歐洲已有超過五十間公司訂購了兩千部以上的 Vectron 鐵路機車。因此，鐵道迷們都很熟悉這系列機車，即使設計規格不同，人人都聽說過 Vectron！
FlixTrain 是位於德國的開放式客運營運商，旗下還有城際公路服務 FlixBus 並行服務，強化現有的鐵道運輸服務。 該營運商向其他公司租借如 Vectron 等設備，並使用色彩明亮的 FlixTrain 綠色塗裝。 Vectron 和 FlixTrain 的營運方式一拍即合，並已投入該公司旗下的運輸網，其中包括 Kinzigtalbahn 路線，並搭配現代化的 Talbot 車廂。
