Train Sim World® 7: Florida Tri-Rail: Miami - Boca Raton Route Add-On
All Aboard for the Sunshine State! Ride the rails of Florida for the first time in Train Sim World 7. Take charge of Tri-Rail services under the dramatic coastal sun, and carry cargo with CSX power, as you surf through South Florida between bustling Miami Airport, and Fort Lauderdale to Boca Raton.
Starting life as part of CSX’s Miami Subdivision, the rails of South Florida first played host to Tri-Rail services in 1989, adding a regular commuter flow through the suburbs north of Miami. Initially only a temporary measure while I95 was widened, ridership numbers demanded the service be made permanent. With many upgrades over time, including line doubling and station rebuilds, the line now serves around 30,000 passengers a day.
In Train Sim World 7, become an engineer or conductor aboard Tri-Rail services through the commuter-heavy corridor of South Florida. Climb up to the cabs of modern and iconic diesels, in tandem with double-deck equipment, to shuttle passengers from Boca Raton, via Fort Lauderdale to Miami Airport. Swap the seats for hefty tonnage and embark on local freight duties as a CSX engineer, switch cars and make local deliveries through the Miami suburbs.
