What is included in Early Access?

Early Access includes the full game as it stands today: a first-person voxel survival crafting game where you land on a procedurally generated planet, mine it, craft your way up to better tools, deal with the wildlife, and build a rocket to get home. Every planet is made fresh from a seed, so the land, plants, creatures, sky and music are different each time you start. New content and improvements will be added over the course of Early Access.

What is the current state of the product?

The game is playable and includes all of the main systems: procedural world generation, mining, crafting, building, and wildlife. It is single player and available on Windows. This is an early build, so there may still be bugs, including ones that get in the way, and some updates may break existing save files. When that happens I will say so in the patch notes.

Will I have access to the product during the entire Early Access phase?

Yes. Once you buy Victor Space Program you have access to it throughout Early Access and after it leaves Early Access, at no extra cost.

How long is the product in Early Access?

I plan to remain in Early Access for around a year, but that could change depending on how the game develops with player feedback.

How often do you update the product?

I plan to update regularly with about one update per week and to post patch notes for every update, including the small ones.

Is my progress saved between updates?

In most cases yes. Because the game is still changing, some updates may break existing save files. When an update does that, I will say so in the patch notes ahead of time.

Will the price change when the product leaves Early Access?

I might increase the price during Early Access as content is added, and again when the game leaves Early Access. Buying during Early Access means you get every update at no extra cost.

Can I provide feedback and bug reports?

Yes, and it helps a lot. I plan to be active on Discord and I want to hear suggestions, bug reports and feedback. Because every world comes from a seed, you can also share a seed with me and I can load the exact planet you saw.
