Blockchain Usage:
Vivaion has 2 realms where one of them utilizes the Solana blockchain for data storage, payment infrastructure, and on-chain game state computing.

Digital Collectables(NFTs)
There are several digital collectibles available on popular NFT marketplaces. The first one is store bought skins & cosmetics. The second one is the keys of creation collectible cards. The cards are bought then turned in for a key of creation. The key unlocks seasonal cosmetic rewards.

Cryptocurrency
The game has 2 commodity tokens that are used as energy & ore for crafting cosmetics in-game. If a player wishes to turn their game items into digital collectibles stored on-chain & make them sell-able then they are required to burn $vivaion as energy to convert the item to an NFT. The energy conversion fee prevents spam & low valued items from flooding the marketplaces.

In vivaion, dedicated players can learn a crafting profession where they can research different cosmetics then craft them. Depending on the type of cosmetics it is, the player may be required to burn $aevum in order to create the cosmetic item.

What utility does this bring to the product?

The on-chain game state computing allows for autonomous tournament system and a crafting system that utilizes tokens as energy & ore.
The NFTs make the game cosmetics sell-able and compatible with several different digital collectible marketplaces.
The cryptocurrency fees regulate the production of blockchain cosmetics and prevent marketplace spam.

Does this product require me to connect an external wallet? What wallets does this product support?

To register for the blockchain realm it will require a Solana blockchain wallet. Only phantom and tranquility are supported.

It does not require a Solana wallet to play on the Oasis realm dedicated for classic players.

Can I use the product without interacting or engaging with blockchain, NFT, or cryptocurrency?

The Oasis realm is a free-to-play server cluster that has no blockchain integration at all and is designed for classic players to enjoy the game without the extra layer of complexity.

What chain does this product use? Is the chain proof-of-work or proof-of-stake?

Vivaion uses the Solana blockchain.

The chain is a proof of stake blockchain.

Does this product have a marketplace? What can I do with the things that I earn (or purchase)?

Players can equip or sell the cosmetics they make or purchase in-game through popular digital collectible marketplaces like Fractal, & Magic Eden.

Vivaion does not have its own in-house marketplace, but we plan to in the future for better user experience.
