Baal Secundusの解放を目指して戦うBlood Angelsに、2つの新しいエリート部隊、Assault TerminatorsとSanguinary Guardが加わった。

Assault Terminators

Assault Terminatorsは、Blood Angels Armouryの中でも最も価値の高い遺物を備えている。それぞれのTerminatorのアーマーは精巧に作られた戦争用のマシンであり、何千もの戦いをくぐり抜けてきたものだ。これらの名誉ある遺物は、第1中隊のエリート戦士たちに授与され、彼らの任務は常に最も困難で危険な攻撃の先陣を切ることになる。

Assault Terminatorsは、破壊的な近接武器を選択することができ、徹底的に攻撃する能力を使って高価値の標的を選んで排除することが可能だ。Lightning ClawsはGauntの群れを引っ掻き出すのに役立ち、一方でThunder HammerとStorm Shieldの組み合わせは、Terminatorsを最も過酷な攻撃にも耐えうる恐ろしいハンターにアップグレードする。

Sanguinary Guard

Danteの個人的なボディガードであるSanguinary Guardは、Blood Angelsの気高さと技術の模範である。Chapterで最も優れた戦士であり助言者である彼らの戦闘技術は、Great AngelのSanguinius、Lord CommanderのDante、そしてSanguinary Guardの第一号であるAzkaellonに敬意を表している。

Sanguinary Guardは、戦場で役立つ華麗なJump Packsや、戦争の装備に匹敵する武器のオプションなど、幅広い用途に対応している。手首に装着されたAngelus BoltgunとInferno Pistolは敵の攻撃を阻止し、Encarmine Swordと斧は最も頑丈なXenosのアーマーをも切り裂くことができる。さらに、Sanguinary Guardは、Heirs of Azkaellon能力によって優れた精度と猛威で攻撃することができ、その威力はGuardがHQ Commanderに近接している場合にはさらに高まる。

このDLCでは、「Age of Crimson Dawn」のシングルプレイヤーストーリーキャンペーン、シングルプレイヤーの小戦闘、マルチプレイヤーの部隊にAssault TerminatorsとSanguinary Guardを追加することができる。
