A Total War Saga: TROY
This mod gives you two ways to find idle units:
Press a shortcut to pan to and select the next idle unit.
Press a shortcut to ping all idle units and highlight their unit cards. This will stay on until you press the hotkey again, so if a unit becomes idle mid-battle while the toggle is on, that unit will be highlighted and pinged.
Setup
Install and enable the mod.
Set the keyboard shortcuts you want to use. IMPORTANT: don't use Shift or Ctrl as part of the hotkey for "Save Camera 11 / Next Idle Unit". (The other shortcuts can use any key combination.)
This mod piggybacks on the "Save Camera Bookmark 10" and "Save Camera Bookmark 11" shortcuts (in Options > Controls > Universal). You won't use them to save camera bookmarks when this mod is active. There are still ten other hotkey options for saving camera bookmarks, which will be plenty for most users.
Optional: Configure this mod to work like you want it to.
Optional: How to configure this mod
On your computer, go to the TotalWarSagaTroy folder where the game is installed. Add a new folder (if you don't already have it) and name it mod_config.
Start the game.
Once you're at the main menu, minimize the game.
In the mod_config folder, there should now be a new file called find_idle_units_config.txt. Open that file.
There are comments throughout the file to guide you. Edit any settings you'd like.
Save the file.
Your new settings apply in your next battle, not any current battle. (You can edit these settings any time except when a battle is loading.)

Compatible with Saved Games
This is a scripted battle mod. You can use this mod on campaigns you've already started, and you can stop using this mod at any time.
Compatibility with other mods
I do not currently know of any mod incompatibilities. If you find one, please let me know so I can list it here and work with the author to resolve it.
(This even works with the Troy version of Spectator Mode, since I updated it use the new phase handlers.)
Known Issues
In siege battles, units that finish climbing walls sometimes do not get marked as idle.
