Why Early Access?
The Aquarist is an incredibly relaxing game that allows you to make your underwater dreams
come true without having to buy an actual aquarium. You can take care of interesting creatures, observe the temperature and other necessary parameters, and diversify the environment of your underwater friends without leaving your comfortable chair - and we want this experience to be even better!
Early Access gives us the opportunity to maintain relationships with our players and repair any
problems they may encounter during the game. We want our product to be the best as possible and Early Access is an opportunity to make it so.
Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?
We anticipate that the game will be in Early Access between 6 and 12 months. This is an
adequate time to maintain relationships with players, identify pressing topics and address them.
It's a great opportunity to get to know your thoughts and make the game even better - for you!
How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?
We want to improve the game itself, and focus on providing the most relaxing gameplay
possible. The final version of the product will include:
new features
new levels with interesting creatures
improvements of the already existing levels
The changes will also depend on the feedback of our players. We are here and we are listening
to you - and you let us know what you need.
What is the current state of the Early Access version?
The game is now fully playable, with all key features implemented, major bugs fixed and performance improved - we've already "tested" the game with the free First Job and Demo. Game offers several levels where you can create your own aquariums in different circumstances. As you improve, you can grow your business, make exhibitions to earn more money and discover new areas and species. Game begins in your house while being a little kid and the story "ends" with our player managing huge oceanarium with new, interesting creatures and nearby cafe. We also made "Designer" mode available for our Early Access players so they can have a free mode to create whatever they want without specific tasks
Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?
It shouldn't be much different, but if we add a lot of new content it can be a bit higher when fully released.
How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?
Together with our players, we have built a fantastic community on Discord where we share our
thoughts and ideas. Our players can report bugs to us there, and we will fix them and inform you
about changes that are taking place in the games on a regular basis. We believe that also this
time we will be able to count on our players and once again co-create another product with
them. You can easily become one of them - we can't wait for your feedback!
