I’M UNABLE TO CREATE A MULTIPLAYER LOBBY ON EPIC.
Ensure your EPIC account is linked to an Xbox account. This can be verified via the Sign In button in the Main Menu. Once signed into Xbox, you can create a lobby and select the Go Online button to send invites to your friends.
Your friends need to be signed in to the Xbox Game Bar to receive the invite.
CAN I CROSSPLAY WITH OTHER PLATFORMS?
Yes. As Dusk Fall supports cross platform play between Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Epic, Steam and GoG.
CAN I PLAY IN BROADCAST MODE AND PLAY WITH FRIENDS AT THE SAME TIME?
Yes, Broadcast Mode is available in local co-op games. If you are in Broadcast Mode, viewers will vote on choices in game, with the opportunity for the broadcaster or others playing locally to override. Online multiplayer is not available while in Broadcast Mode.
DID YOU SAY I CAN CONTROL THE GAME USING MY SMARTPHONE?
Yes. Players can control the game using their Android or iOS device, provided it uses the same Wi-fi/LAN (Local Area Network) as their PC. You just need to download and install the As Dusk Falls Companion App. If you have an Android phone, the operating system must be running Android 13 (Tiramisu). iOS phones will need OS 12.0 or better.
I CAN’T CONNECT MY MOBILE DEVICE TO A HOST LOBBY WHILE USING THE AS DUSK FALLS COMPANION APP.
Verify that the host console and the mobile device are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Players cannot use the As Dusk Falls Companion App to join a game over long distances.
I CAN’T CONNECT MY APPLE DEVICE TO THE GAME WHILE USING THE AS DUSK FALLS COMPANION APP (AFTER 7th MARCH 2024).
On the 7th March 2024 As Dusk Falls is being released on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Epic and GoG (as well as a patch for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Steam). We have also submitted a new iOS update for the Companion App, which is currently in the Apple app review process.
The current Companion App (Version 0.1.204236) on the iOS App Store is not compatible with the latest game release. We are trying our best to release the latest update on iOS as soon as possible, and will update this page when it is released.
