Is there any benefit to buying the game on Epic versus other game platforms?

Unfortunately, not for the players. The online stores all make us sign agreements not to give special pricing, etc to convince players to buy on one platform or the other. We can say that purchasing the game on EPIC helps us out a great great deal and does not prevent you from playing with friends and others who do not.

Can you play with friends on other platforms?

When we can release on other platforms the game will support cross-platform gaming!

Will ghost abilities like Playtime and Apparition have alternative effects?

Yes, we plan to keep adding lots of options for players will be able to pick and choose from.

Are there plans for additional ways for ghost player to scare hunters?

Yes, we plan to add in many variations of "Area Events" for the ghost player to trigger and many other methods.

Does the ghost character (model) I choose effect gameplay?

No, the look of the ghost is purely cosmetic fun and has no effect on anything.

Does the game support game controllers?

Not yet but it is planned.

Will the game have a VR mode?

The current plan is to support both PC VR and standalone (such as Meta Quest 3) as soon as we can. We are eagerly looking forward to this as much or more as many players are.

How "early" is this "early access" release?

The game will launch with just a few maps and very basic gameplay to give us time to fix bugs and gauge how well the base abilities, interactions and gameplay is accepted by the players.

Since the game requires a minimal of 2 players, is there matchmaking available?

Currently Matchmaking mode is not available but we hope to release it once we have implemented more core systems. If you are looking for someone to play with, you can join out Discord channel to make some new friends.

Who is the current Early Access release good for and not good for?

The current gameplay is very basic and highly limited. If you enjoy trying new game concepts, testing and helping to improve games this is great for you. However if you prefer more "complete" and "ready to go" games with a ton of initial content, we would recommend you wait. Of course you can always purchase now to help us out and give it a try!

Will there be more free content such as levels and ghost skins?

Yes, the "base game" comes with all current and future maps for the first region, Ravencrest. We will also randomly include new content for free.

Why would we sometimes have to pay for additional game content when this is still in Early Access?

We are a very tiny couple of people working on this and our funding to continue to develop comes solely from income the game generates. We greatly appreciate any support and look forward to making this a very large game.
