Why Early Access?
We have learned a lot from launching our previous games in the Victory At Sea line. As a small indie team we wanted to try and build something different that both our team and our players wanted to play. We feel we have achieved that, but it took longer than we thought. We realised we should have gone into Early Access with Victory At Sea Pacific, to get player feedback before launch. Players were coming up with ways to play that we hadn't thought of and suddenly we were building new sections of the game. We want to get that collaboration in EA with Atlantic, we want player involvement, we want to know where we are going wrong, where we are going right.
Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?
We'll be aiming to be in Early Access for 6 months, this could be longer depending on player feedback.
How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?
For the final version, we hope to add an Axis campaign, a more detailed plane combat and espionage , Modding, as well as a more immersive and ambitious amphibious mechanic. These will be developed with the community through EA.
How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?
As players who know us know, we are very active in our Steam community, we listen to all feedback, as usual we're planning on staying very close to our community as we shape Atlantic.
