为之前《模拟火车世界®》系列游戏发售的模拟火车世界兼容内容将可能与之前发售的版本没有区别，也不会适用更新的核心功能与机制。
请注意：为享受完整游戏体验，我们建议玩家另外单独购买《模拟火车世界 5》Frankfurt - Fulda。
整个欧洲境内，共有 50 多个不同公司已经预订使用超过 2000 辆 Vectron。这让该系列名声大噪，并成为所有铁路迷们常见的一景。尽管其具体的设计配置各有不同，但该系列已经无人不知、无人不晓！
FlixTrain 这家位于德国的开放式运营铁路公司通过提供额外的城际运输服务，补充了现有的铁路运输资源，同时也是一家名为 FlixBus 的陆路运输服务提供商。该公司从其他公司租赁如 Vectron 这样的机车设备，并涂上 FlixTrain 特有的明艳绿色涂装。Vectron 搭配现代化的 Talbot 列车，十分符合 FlixTrain 运输服务的需求，并在其整个铁路网络都有使用，其中就包括金齐格山谷铁路线。
