Why Early Access?

Above all, we wanted players to enjoy the beauty of nature and the charms of the forest as early as possible! We also had an educational goal, so that players could learn through gameplay how important ecology is for our planet.
This was the goal that guided us from the very beginning. In addition, we try to be close to our community and listen to all opinions and suggestions as to what players as guardians expect from the gameplay. We believe that by combining them together with our vision for the game we will be able to achieve the best possible results.

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

We plan to remain in early access until we decide that the game is complete. In the meantime, we will be releasing major content updates, as well as smaller updates that will focus on specific aspects of the game to improve quality, as our goal is to reach version 1.0. We will continue to listen to feedback from our community and work on improvements to the core of the game

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

First of all, we want to find out, together with the community, what features we should prioritize. We have many ideas for the finished game, however, we need a realistic view of the situation. It all comes down to what you, the players, ask us for and what you like about the game. Of course, we envision many general improvements like a realistic tourist AI system with NPC player interactions. A forest trail marking system or care and photography of the forest's flora and fauna. For us, the most important thing is the players and what they expect and would like to experience as a Forest Ranger.

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

Most of the main elements are ready. Like advanced waste collection and segregation. Task system for the forest ranger. Forest care elements such as crafting new items, feeding animals, producing honey, repairing damaged elements of the forest park. Store, auctioning items. We realize that there are still a lot of elements that will need tweaking and changes, but we want players to be able to decide what will be in the game and have a real impact on its development

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

The official version will be more refined therefore its price may be slightly higher than in Early Access, but it will certainly offer many more mechanics and more complex functionalities from the EA version.

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

Your comments will be crucial in our efforts to make Forest Ranger the best forest ranger simulator - we want to hear from you about anything you think is important!
