Necrodemic is a survival-based thriller set within the Bullieverse ecosystem. The game pits players against waves of zombie bears, where they must collect 'Essence' to upgrade their weapons, ammo, and perks, all of which are crucial for survival. Built on Unreal Engine 5 and emphasizes strategic gameplay, with each match offering a unique experience due to procedurally generated enemies and randomized in-game shop inventories. The game features a range of perks, equipping up to six at a time, adding a layer of strategy to how they manage resources and upgrades. Additionally, the game’s unpredictability, from random enemy spawns to the interactions between different types of enemies, ensures that no two sessions are the same to keep players engaged and constantly adapting their strategies. A key feature of Necrodemic is the boss encounter at round 20, where the player faces a necromancer who attacks with waves of enemies and dark spells. This final boss fight adds a significant challenge, requiring players to use all the skills and upgrades they've acquired throughout the game to survive​

Enemies

In Necrodemic, enemy types significantly vary, each bringing unique challenges and tactics to the gameplay. With elements of surprise that interplay among them, like the Howler whose howl boosts other enemies, players must strategically prioritize their targets. Deciding which enemy to eliminate first and timing these decisions wisely can dramatically influence the game's outcome.If players want to focus on the faster-moving zombies or the little hounds because they run fast but then leave too much time for the howlers to beef up the rest of the enemies. There are a few different ways that players have to think about how they want to handle their enemies. This is different from many other zombie shooters, where players try to kill them before they get to them.

The Shop

To outlast diverse foes, players must enhance their characters by purchasing perks that boost firing, reloading speeds, and unique abilities like converting grenades into sticky grenades or enabling quick revives. These upgrades are available at in-game shops that appear periodically. Players are limited to six perks simultaneously, despite the game offering more. This necessitates strategic decision-making: seize immediate upgrades using essence or gamble on finding superior perks later. However, hesitation may result in missed opportunities, as shops eventually close.
