When can I play the Early Access?

What is included in Early Access?

Players will have early access to our guardian characters, as well as early-stage features and functionality of the core gameplay loop.

Will my progress be saved during updates?

Player progress will not be saved between updates. However, certain rewards or items offered during the early access play sessions may be available upon full launch.

How often will you be updating the game?

The game will be updated whenever new features are ready and available for feedback. This will be determined by our development progress.

Why center the game around cats?

The concept for Nyan Heroes was born from the development team’s shared love and admiration for cats.

Does Nyan Heroes require me to connect an external wallet? What wallets does this product support?

Nyan Heroes does NOT require an external wallet, however external wallet connection is supported via Phantom Wallet.

Can I use Nyan Heroes without interacting or engaging with blockchain, NFT, or cryptocurrency?

Yes, all on-chain trading is purely optional and does not impact the core gameplay experience.

What chain does Nyan Heroes use?

Nyan Heroes uses the Solana blockchain, which operates on both a proof-of-history (PoH) and proof-of-stake (PoS) consensus model.

Does Nyan Heroes have a marketplace? What can I do with the things that I earn (or purchase)?

Nyan Heroes will eventually have a marketplace that will allow users to trade in-game items with each other for use in and out of gameplay sessions.

How is blockchain, NFT, or cryptocurrency used in Nyan Heroes?

Primarily, NFTs will be used as an ownership layer for certain digital assets earnt or bought in the game.

What utility does this bring to Nyan Heroes?

By giving players full ownership of their in-game assets, we can empower them to create their own player-driven economy either within the game or via external marketplaces.

Will the price change when the game leaves Early Access?

Currently, the game is free to play, and there are no plans to change this approach.

What kind of 'In-App Purchases' can we expect?

We are focussing on making the core gameplay fun and engaging right now, so we haven't started planning or designing what items we can sell or what you would want.

Current ideas include 'Cosmetic items' and 'Customization Items' such as Mech and Weapon skins, 'Consumable items' (if they make sense) and a potential battle pass system.

However, this list is not final, is completely subject to change and all IAP plans will be communicated to our users when we start to finalize function and fit.

What is the IAP refund policy?

As we don't have an IAP design or item list yet, we have not defined a refund policy.

While it is possible we will have a 'No Refund' policy it is too early to say, and would also be subject to change.

We encourage all users to provide feedback and bug reports. Communication channels will be provided via Discord.
