Pfälzische Ludwigsbahn 包含 2 個截然不同的部分：行駛於曼海姆 (Mannheim) 與諾伊施塔特 (Neustadt) 之間水平而筆直的路線，以及隨後迎面而來由森林築起的高牆，穿過通往急彎和窄谷的起始，一路西向凱撒勞頓 (Kaiserslautern) 而去。
