關於本遊戲：

在《Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector》中，兩種全新的致命單位加入泰倫蟲族 (Tyranid) 的行列：噩夢般的 Broodlord，以及具毀滅性破壞力的 Hive Guard。

Broodlord

Broodlord 是近戰強者，擁有擾亂鄰近獵物心靈的能力。

透過蟲巢意志 (Hive Mind) 的力量，Broodlord 使用其 Paroxysm 心靈能力讓部隊在戰場上失去戰力，然後再揮舞著 Monstrous Rending Claw 撲到他們身上。當 Broodlord 處於戰場上時，其 Evolved Brood Telepathy 能力可協助任何鄰近的 Genestealer 蜂擁至敵人防線之上。

Hive Guard

Hive Guard 是彪形裝甲遠距部隊，手持可怕的生化機關砲掃射獵物。

Hive Guard 部隊可選擇使用 Impaler Cannon 或是 Shockcannon 消滅敵人。Impaler Cannon 的心靈感應碎片—野獸彈藥可閃躲並繞過障礙物，只有最厚重的掩體才有保護效果。Shockcannon 可炸開機械敵人的裝甲，讓戰車止步，甚至連最強大的 Dreadnought 也抵擋不住其威力。

此 DLC 讓玩家可以將 Broodlord 及 Hive Guard 新增至單人 Skirmish 以及多人的軍隊中。

Broodlord 及 Hive Guard 已在免費更新中新增至「Age of Crimson Dawn」單人劇情戰役中。因此，不須擁有 DLC 即可在戰役中與其對戰。
