Goat Simulator 3 outfit coming to Fortnite, no kidding
The literal GOAT of video games lands in Fortnite this month.
Anyone who purchases Goat Simulator 3 on the Epic Games Store by 11:59 p.m. ET on Sept. 29, 2023, gets a Fortnite Outfit inspired by Pilgor, star of the Goat Simulator games.
Once the game is purchased, players just need to log into Fortnite with the same Epic Games account used to purchase Goat Simulator 3, and "A Goat" will be automatically added to their Fortnite Locker, which always has enough ruminant for new Outfits.
Don't want Goat Simulator 3 but do want "A Goat" in Fortnite? Great news, the "A Goat" Outfit also pops up for sale in the Item Shop in Fortnite on Nov. 26, 2022. So everyone will have a chance to trot through the grassy plains as a mayhem-fueled bovine.
Fortunately, the "A Goat" Outfit doesn't mean you'll be capering about the Fortnite map on all fours, sans hands, in search of grass–or really anything—-to eat. Instead, the developers at Coffee Stain North got a bit creative to create a satyric creation.
“Now we know Goat Simulator 3’s Pilgor looks different in her ‘A Goat’ Fortnite form, but our signature approach to hyperrealism simply didn’t fit in this bright and colorful game,” Elin Hamberg, Lead Artist at Coffee Stain North said. “Her arrival in this new world meant giving her a Fortnite twist, and muscles. If the thought of transforming into a questionably named, half goat / half human hybrid rocking a ragdoll print crop top is still your thing – live your best life. We won't judge.”
If you've somehow missed the wonders of inhabiting a bovid called Pilgor, wreaking havoc and cultivating chaos on the island of San Angora, it's a great time to pick up the sequel to the original Goat Simulator. (Yes, they skipped straight from the first to the third in the series.)
The original game was born out of an April Fool's joke at a game jam. But that 2014 title sold millions of copies across consoles, PC, Nintendo Switch, and mobile.
Goat Simulator 3 builds on the best bits of the original with bleating edge graphics that raises the baa for goat simulators to brand new heights (sometimes literally.)
The game hits PC on the Epic Games Store, as well as PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, on Nov. 17, 2022.
