1. What in-app or in-game purchases are offered in your product?
Warframe is a third-person action game set in an evolving, exciting sci-fi universe. The entire game is free-to-play, but players can also support the title with the purchase of our in-game currency, Platinum. Platinum can be used to purchase in-game items — including a host of Warframes, Weapons, boosters and customizations. Platinum and items can also be traded to other players.
We also have several other bundles that can be purchased with real-world currency. These bundles include rotating content packs and items related to our Prime Access and Prime Resurgence programs, as well as community-designed “TennoGen” customizations.
Prime Access and Prime Resurgence offer upgraded Prime versions of existing Warframes, Weapons and Accessories. Players can earn Prime Access and Prime Resurgence items in-game through normal play, or purchase Prime Access items using the Regal Aya currency, which is also available for purchase with real-world currency. Unlike Platinum, Regal Aya cannot be traded to other players.
2. Can your product be used without making any in-app purchases?
Warframe can be played entirely for free from beginning to end. Just by enjoying the game, players will earn everything they need to progress through the story and endgame content. The premium Platinum currency is only used to purchase additional Warframes, Weapons, Accessories, cosmetic items and boosts to speed up certain in-game functions or apply unique customizations.
3. Are in-app purchases refundable? Note: If refunds are available, you must include a link to your refund policy.
We do not offer refunds on purchases of in-game items or Platinum, except in accordance with country-specific applicable laws. You can learn more about our Refund policy in our End-User License Agreement.
4. What payment platform is used to facilitate these purchases?
On the Epic Games Store, we utilize the internal EGS payment platform.
5. Do you use Epic Games’ platform or a 3rd-party (including your own) payment system?
On the Epic Games Store, we utilize the internal EGS payment system, but players can also make purchases through our website at Warframe.com.
