What do you call a game update specifically planned for Halloween? A Pumpkin Patch! Stop laughing! Halloween is serious business, and across the Epic Games Store a number of top titles are hosting events for players to plunder. There’s no need to beg for treats - here are some of the big events running this spooky season. 

Destiny 2

Festival of the Lost is Destiny 2’s big party for spooky season, filled to the brim with goodies. Brave the game’s Haunted Sectors in search of the Eerie Engrams that you can crack open for some treats, or spend them in Hocus Focusing to grab an exotic item.

Fortnite

During Fortnitemares 2023, it’s time to call in a vampire hunter: you! Match the stakes of Kado Thorne’s threat with the new Wood Stake Shotgun. And don’t stop at vampire hunting — jump into the Horde Rush limited-time experience, complete Quests for in-game rewards, and more! Fortnitemares 2023 runs until November 3, 2023, at 2 AM ET

Fall Guys 

Fall Guys welcomes you to a Blunderdome filled with fun Costumes, Creative Challenges, and more. Happy Falloween! 

Earlier this month, Fall Guys challenged players to design and share their Halloween-inspired Rounds. Now they’re here, filling the Blunderdome with incredible themed levels for players to enjoy an autumnal stumble. 

Not only that, but the Trick or Yeet Fame Pass and the in-game store has creepy Costumes to send Beans screaming through the new challenges. 

Killing Floor 2

With a new map set in the Bavarian Alps, and the return of Bounty Mode, the wave-based shooter is full of chills, thrills, and plenty of kills this Halloween. 

Dead by Daylight

As you’d expect from the horror survival game, Dead by Daylight is big on Halloween. So big that it has its own roadmap of scares. With Tome 17: Commitment already released, featuring new Outfits, Charms, Challenges and lots of lore, next up is the Haunted by Daylight event. 

Creeping out of the Fog, it adds a new Event Tome for the Halloween period, the Void Realm, and daily challenges with rewards. All previous Halloween Outfits, and new Cosmetics Collections will be released as well. 

Rocket League 

Everybody makes a scene on Halloween, and for this Haunted Hallows Event Rocket League is spreading the holiday fear with ghoulish goods inspired by Disney Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas. Jack Skellington, Sally, Oogie Boogie, and Sandy Claws items are coming to Rocket League! Complete event challenges to earn skull-rattling rewards, or test your courage as two Limited Time Modes emerge from the shadows.

Chivalry 2

Things can get grimmer in the medieval multiplayer head-lopper. Halloween decorations have filled favorite maps, helmets have turned into pumpkins, there are coffins you can yeet in battle, and the catapults are firing massive pumpkin ammunition all over the battlefield. It’s chaos, but in the best possible way. 

PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS

The battle royale’s spooky celebrations includes SURVIVOR’S LEFT BEHIND - a new mode where players are trapped in the area with zombies! It’s a classic set-up: you select your weapons, blast your way past the undead while hunting for fuel, fill the generators, and power  the exits to escape.

There are some elaborate outfits in-store as well, allowing you to battle the undead while looking fine.
