Weird weapons can really make a game stand out from the crowd, and the Epic Games Store is home to some of gaming's wackiest arsenals. From lethal disco to weaponized body fluids, these are the strangest weapons you can find in our library of games. 
 

Far Cry 6—Discos Locos

Far Cry 6 has tons of traditional weapons, but launching a revolution requires creative thinking. Guerrilla warfare is the key to taking down Antón Castillo's regime, and Far Cry 6 gives players plenty of DIY Resolver weapons that the dictatorship won't see coming. One of the coolest Resolver weapons in Far Cry 6 is Discos Locos, which launches CDs while the “Macarena” plays over a crude speaker.
 

Saints Row IV: Re-Elected—Dubstep Gun

Saints Row IV is very much a product of its time, and some of its wacky referential jokes might miss the mark in 2025. Still, a lot of the game's humor still holds up pretty well, and that includes the fan-favorite Dubstep Gun. This weapon fires long-range pulses of energy to the beat of dubstep songs, complete with multiple tracks for players to choose from, and the effect is startling: nearby NPCs will dance, and cars will hop on their suspension. There's even a Christmas variant with a holiday dubstep track that has no right to go so hard.
 

Cyberpunk 2077—Skippy

The far future is filled with strong weapons and even stronger cybernetics, but one of the strangest guns that players can find in Cyberpunk 2077's Night City is a unique pistol named Skippy. 

This gun comes equipped with a built-in AI that speaks to players during combat. After analyzing the player's fighting style, it presents them with a choice between the Puppy-Loving Pacifist and Stone Cold Killer modes. The gun may not be entirely honest about each mode's functionality though. Also, it hums a Rihanna song when you first pick it up.
 

Borderlands 2—Minecraft weapons

The Borderlands series is known for its insanely deep pool of weaponry, and the second game still holds a place in many players' hearts all these years later. Just like Saints Row IV, Borderlands 2 is filled with references to internet humor from the early 2010s, which can seem dated now. Some of its references still hold up, though, including a secret Minecraft cave packed with Creepers that’s home to Minecraft-themed weapons like the Blockhead, a gun that fires a 3x3 spread of fireballs that ricochet with 100% splash damage. 
 

Rainbow Six Siege—Pantheon Shells

Rainbow Six Siege's roster of operators continues to grow with each new update. One of the latest characters, a Defender from Cyprus who goes by the call sign Skopós, is disabled and carries out operations entirely from her wheelchair. 

She pilots a pair of humanoid robots called the V10 Pantheon Shells that she can swap between at any time. Only one can be active at a time, though, so players have to think on their feet to make the most out of this duo during a match.
 

Vampire Survivors—Emergency Meeting

Vampire Survivors has a huge arsenal of weapons and upgrades with more being added via post-launch updates, but none have matched the sheer insanity of the Among Us-themed Emergency Meeting DLC. 

This expansion adds all sorts of Among Us goodies to Vampire Survivors, but none are more powerful than the titular Emergency Meeting weapon. This occasionally "votes out" an enemy type as if you were playing Among Us, instantly deleting every single instance of that enemy on the screen. It's ridiculously strong, especially as the hordes of enemies grow in size throughout a round.
 

Battlefield 1—Kolibri

World War I shooter Battlefield 1 takes a lot of liberties with its arsenal, but one of the game's wackiest weapons is actually more historically accurate than you'd think. The tiny Kolibri pistol was invented just before the start of the Great War, and Battlefield 1 puts one into the palm of the player’s hand. The gun is comically small and does a negligible amount of damage per shot, but it's a blast to use a weapon that feels like it was ripped straight out of Looney Tunes.
 

Enter the Gungeon—Bullet

Enter the Gungeon is one of the most popular roguelikes of the last decade, and as the name suggests, it's all about guns. The game is so dedicated to this theme that it even has you battle sentient bullets. 

One of the game's coolest weapons takes this to the extreme but in the other direction. The Bullet is a handheld bullet that shoots rotating guns that also fire their own bullets. It's not one of Enter the Gungeon's strongest weapons, but it's guaranteed to put a smile on your face.
 

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2—Pistole

It may be surprising to see a regular old pistol on this list, but considering Warhorse Studios’ historical RPG Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is set in the year 1403, it's impressive that there are any firearms in the game to begin with. 

The Pistole is one of the earliest firearms in recorded history, and players can get a taste of early gunpowder-based guns in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2's Bohemia. There are actually a few different firearms models in the game, but each of them has a ridiculously long reload time, which really only makes them useful for firing an opening shot before drawing a sword for battle.
 

Death Stranding Director's Cut—EX Grenades

Death Stranding is a strange, strange game. The longer you play, the more insane concepts you'll see. EX Grenades are one of the game's weirdest ideas. These grenades are filled with the bodily fluids of protagonist Sam Bridges (played by Norman Reedus) after he showers or uses the toilet, and they're surprisingly effective at deterring the ghostly BTs that haunt the post-apocalyptic United States.

Sam's blood is also an effective BT deterrent, and there are even guns that use blood bags instead of bullets to dispatch ethereal foes. These aren't the only weird weapons in Death Stranding either. The game somehow manages to make everything feel natural within the context of its world, though, so give it a shot if these weapons pique your interest!
