Akolyta

The truth is supposed to set you free. Marshall's truth is the only thing keeping him sane.

Akolyta is a first-person psychological horror adventure set in Gorenwille — a decaying industrial city where faith, science, and human desperation collide.

You are Marshall Gregory Prime, a detective dragged back into the case that once destroyed him, when ritualistic murders begin repeating a pattern he buried years ago. What starts as a murder investigation unravels into a cult, a conspiracy, and the darkest secrets of the Cold War — including the human wreckage left behind by the MK Ultra program.
But your deadliest enemy isn't out there in the dark. It's your own collapsing mind.

WHAT AWAITS YOU

• Solve cases on the Case Board — gather evidence and testimony, connect the clues, and trigger Deductions that crack the investigation wide open.
• Survive on scarce resources — a flashlight that drains, ammunition you can't waste, and health that never regenerates.
• Follow the Breadcrumbs — ledgers, letters, and recordings that quietly reveal the rotten history of Gorenwille.
• Build your detective across Three skill Trees: Physical Conditioning, Investigative Gear, and Environmental Traversal & Perception.
• Reach your own conclusions — investigations branch toward more than one truth.
