Why should I buy a game in Early Access?

We think the game is fun as it is and this is our main focus. We make games because we love playing them. No loot boxes, no shady conversion rates, no pay to win. If there's something that's preventing you from having fun, or there's some way you think you could be having more fun, we want to know about it!
While we grow our community, there's no better time for your voice to be heard. Your feedback is vital in this stage of development and we want to use this time to explore ways of authentically connecting with our audience.
The game will evolve over the years and information is gold in a competitive sense. What you learn now may just keep you at the top of the leaderboards in the future.
We will also be exploring rewards and/or cosmetics exclusive to those who participate in the early access as a way to show our appreciation, along other ways to incentivize feedback.

What is included in Early Access?

Three 1-4 player online game modes with PvE and PvP options. Three character classes with a full customizable inventory system and player trading.

What is the current state of the game?

Everything is stable from start to finish, though ai, attacks, attributes and abilities may be unbalanced.

Can I provide feedback and bug reports?

Yes, please! If there's any way we can make the game more fun, we'd love to do so! We wish to be very involved with the community and will be performing various inquiries into raw data analysis and player polls, including an option in game to vote on your most desired new feature from the roadmap.
You can report bugs on the public github at https://github.com/Eliphx/MythAndMirage/issues/new/choose (Opens in new tab) and other feedback can be shared in the discord.

How long will the game be in Early Access?

Until the game is bug free, at least somewhat balanced and a new player class and possibly a new game mode or two is added. No longer than 1 year is intended, and hopefully sooner.

How often will you be updating the game?

Constantly. This is the primary reason for Early Access as things can change often and without warning. A lot of experiments will take place during this time, please be patient with us while we refine our methods of communication and learn from our inevitable mistakes.

Will my progress be saved during updates?

For most updates, yes. There is potential for more frequent than intended wipes (schedule still TBD) but these will be communicated on our discord server and in game.
