What is the Dart Monkey Sidekick?

The Dart Monkey Sidekick is an in-game cosmetic that you can use in Fortnite starting from April 23, 2026 at 8:00 PM ET. The Dart Monkey Sidekick will also be purchasable in the Fortnite Shop from April 23, 2026 at 8:00 PM ET to April 29, 2026 at 8:00 PM ET.

The item may return to the item shop at a future date.

How can I get the Dart Monkey Sidekick through the Epic Games Store?

There are two ways to receive the Dart Monkey Sidekick in Fortnite:

- New Purchasers: Making a paid purchase of Bloons TD 6 or an eligible item on the Epic Games Store (PC or Mobile) from April 23, 2026 at 8:00 PM ET will grant you the Dart Monkey Sidekick in Fortnite.
- Existing Owners: If you have previously made a paid purchase of Bloons TD 6, or an eligible item from the Epic Games Store (PC or Mobile), you are eligible. The Dart Monkey Sidekick will be automatically granted to your Fortnite Locker starting April 23, 2026 at 8:00 PM ET.

If you added Bloons TD 6 to your library for free during a previous promotional giveaway, this will not grant you the Dart Monkey Sidekick and you must make a paid purchase of an eligible item to qualify for this offer.

I already own Bloons TD 6 from a previous promotional giveaway. Do I get the Dart Monkey Sidekick?

No. The offer requires a paid transaction on the Epic Games Store. To receive the ‘Gift-with-purchase’ you can purchase any eligible Bloons TD 6 item from the Epic Games Store.

Do I get to keep the Dart Monkey Sidekick if I refund my purchase of Bloons TD 6, or an eligible item on the Epic Games Store?

If you refund your purchase of Bloons TD 6 or an eligible item on the Epic Games Store you will lose your Dart Monkey Sidekick in Fortnite, or your grant of 1,500 V-Bucks, if you obtained either by purchasing Bloons TD 6.

On which platforms and in which regions is this offer available?

This offer is available on PC and mobile (Android and iOS) in all regions where the Epic Games Store operates. Offer eligibility is subject to the regional availability of Bloons TD 6.

If I purchase an eligible item on the Epic Games Store, will the Dart Monkey Sidekick also appear in my Fortnite Locker on other platforms? (PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, etc.)

Yes! If you are signed in with your Epic account on PC or mobile, or have connected your console account(s) to your Epic account, the Dart Monkey Sidekick will be in your Fortnite Locker starting April 23, 2026 at 8:00 PM ET.

What happens if I’ve already purchased the Dart Monkey Sidekick in the Fortnite Item Shop, and then I purchase an eligible item through the Epic Games Store?

If you’ve already purchased the Dart Monkey Sidekick and then purchased an eligible item through the Epic Games Store, you will receive a one-time grant inside Fortnite of 1,500 V-Bucks instead of the Dart Monkey Sidekick.

Please note, V-Bucks refunds will only apply to items purchased within the last 12 months.

If I purchase Bloons TD 6 or an eligible item on both PC and mobile, will I receive the Dart Monkey Sidekick (or the V-Buck grant) twice?

No. This offer is limited to one Dart Monkey Sidekick (or a one-time 1,500 V-Buck grant) per Epic Games account. While you may choose to purchase the game or eligible items on multiple platforms, completing additional qualifying purchases on a second platform will not result in a duplicate reward or an additional V-Buck refund.

If I purchase Bloons TD 6 or an eligible item as a gift for a friend on the Epic Games Store, who receives the Dart Monkey Sidekick?

The recipient of the gift will receive the Dart Monkey Sidekick. Once your friend redeems the gift on their Epic Games account, the reward will be granted to their Fortnite Locker. Please note that the sender of the gift is not eligible to receive the Dart Monkey Sidekick from that specific transaction; a separate qualifying paid purchase must be made from your own account to receive the reward.

How long is this offer available?

Dart Monkey Sidekick in Fortnite is available for as long as Bloons TD 6 is available for sale on the Epic Games Store.

What in-app or in-game purchases are offered in your product?

Bloons TD 6 offers virtual currency called Monkey Money for sale in the in-game store. Players can also purchase Insta Monkeys and Powers as well as Double Cash Mode, Map Editor Supporter and Knowledge Points.

Can your product be used without making any in-app purchases?

Yes! All purchases are optional and no core content is locked behind a paywall. Monkey Money is earned by playing the game and items in the Trophy Store are earned by playing game modes like Odysseys, Races, or Contested Territory events. We work hard to make the game as fun as possible without any additional purchases but we do appreciate all IAP purchases that are made as they go directly to helping build new features and new games.

Are in-app purchases refundable?

Unfortunately Bloons TD 6 purchases made within the Epic store are not refundable.
