What is the current state of Chrono CCG?

Chrono is currently in its Alpha phase. We have a working account system, ladder, deckbuilding, tournaments, and multiple draft modes, with new features and UI/UX elements being added weekly.

What platforms will Chrono be on?

Chrono will be released in Alpha on PC, followed by mobile platforms (iOS and Android) at 1.0 launch.

What regions and languages will the game be available in at launch?

We are targeting as wide of a release as possible barring local laws.
Localization will be limited to English in the Alpha and we are exploring Japanese, Chinese, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian, German, and Korean in the future.

How often will Chrono receive new card sets?

Chrono will receive new expansions quarterly (at a minimum), with each expansion introducing new cards and mechanics to keep the game fresh and exciting.

Will Chrono have seasons and set rotations?

Yes, Chrono will have seasonal updates and set rotations to ensure a dynamic and constantly evolving metagame. Sets will rotate out approximately every two years.

What kind of cosmetics will be available in Chrono?

Chrono will feature a variety of cosmetics including alternate card art, alternate card backs and frames, special card effects, player avatars, emotes, and more to come!

Are there items for sale that are used in the gameplay of Chrono?

In the Alpha phase players will have access to a full collection from the get-go. As we implement our full collection mechanics, cards will be obtained through booster packs which can be collected daily using free and premium currency, as well as through draft rewards. A seasonal battle pass will be offered with both free and premium rewards.
Our goal is to build Chrono to be as affordable to players as possible while ensuring that the game is financially stable for years to come.

Will Chrono include tools or resources for streamers?

We will provide gameplay stats as well as streamer tools such as player (not opponent) deck lists, a Twitch overlay, the ability to hide your hand/name to prevent stream sniping, and more.

I am a colorblind person, how will Chrono play for me?

Chrono will include accessibility options such as a colorblind-friendly mode to ensure all players can enjoy the game.

Will there be Limited Play?

Chrono is being built for Draft and Sealed game modes. Limited formats will be an integral part of Chrono’s ecosystem to give players additional ways to enjoy the game and build their collections.

Will Chrono use AI?

All final artwork for Chrono will be made by humans and we will continue to emphasize supporting our amazing artist community.
AI placeholder images have been used in prototyping and will be gradually phased out as we move through Alpha and Beta and create more art.
All in-game text and mechanics were written by people.

Will there be blockchain, NFT, or cryptocurrency involved in Chrono CCG?

No. Never.

What is included in Early Access?

Chrono is currently in its Alpha stage, meaning that we are allowing players to test the game and provide feedback on an invite-basis. Kickstarter backers and active Discord community members will receive first priority, with the player pool expanding as we go.

Will I have access to Chrono during the entire Early Access phase?

Yes. We may need to take the game down for short intervals for multiplayer stability and improvements, but these will be announced well in advance.

Can Chrono be played without making any in-app purchases?

Yes. Chrono aims to be accessible for any player interested in the game without spending money. Daily, weekly, and seasonal prizes will be available that reward engagement and commitment and enable play at the highest tiers of competition.

Are in-app purchases refundable?

Currently there are no in-app purchases. Once we enable them, we will have refundable purchases enabled under certain conditions, to be announced.

What payment platform will be used to facilitate these products? Do you use Epic Games' paltform or a 3rd-party payment system?

We will be used a 3rd-party system once the shop is enabled, later in 2026.
