Is the game really free ?

Yes, Blast is fully free-to-play. You can progress, collect cards, and compete without spending money. Optional cosmetic and convenience purchases are available but never necessary.

Is there pay-to-win?

No. The game is designed to be fair. All players have access to the same cards through free progression. In-game purchases are limited to cosmetics and boosters, which can also be obtained for free.

How long does a match last ?

A typical match lasts about 5 minutes, making the game perfect for short or long sessions.

Do I need to know card games to play?

No. The game provides a full tutorial and easy-to-understand rules. Full mastery requires practice and strategy.

How many cards are in the game?

The game currently has over 800 cards across 5 collections: Arkhante, Mantris, Watch Dogs, Rift, and Dawn of War. A new collection every ~9 months.

How does deck building work?

A deck contains 30 cards with a maximum of 3 terrain cards. You can customize your strategy by choosing cards from different elements and creating synergies.

What is the Rune system?

Grade S cards have unique passive effects (Runes) based on their collection. S card combos can stack multiple Runes for devastating effects.

Can I play offline?

No, an internet connection is required for all game modes.

Is matchmaking balanced?

Yes, the matchmaking system considers your level and rank to match you against similarly skilled opponents.

Can I use the product without interacting or engaging with blockchain, NFT, or cryptocurrency?

Totally. Blockchain integration is entirely optional. You can fully enjoy the game without creating a wallet or owning cryptocurrency.

What chain does this product use? Is the chain proof-of-work or proof-of-stake?

Cross The Ages uses Solana, a fast proof-of-stake blockchain with very low transaction fees.

How is blockchain, NFT, or cryptocurrency used in this product?

Cards of the active season can be converted into Eternal ("NFTs"), allowing you to truly own and trade them on external marketplace. It is optional. A Solana Wallet manually binded on the user account on the external platform "Portal" is required to be able to convert assets to Eternal.

What utility does this bring to the product?

NFT cards have exactly the same stats and effects as their non-NFT versions. The only difference is ownership and trading ability on external marketplace.

Does this product require me to connect an external wallet? What wallets does this product support?

No, it will be only required to convert some cards to Eternal ("NFT"). This option is not available in the product if a Solana wallet has not been manually bind on your account on the external website "Portal": https://portal.crosstheages.com/ (Opens in new tab)

Does this product have a marketplace? What can I do with the things that I earn (or purchase)?

Not in the application. However, external website "Portal" allows you to bind your account to a Solana wallet to allow you to convert some cards in the game to Eternal ("NFT"). These cards can be traded on Solana-compatible marketplaces like the one available on "Portal" website.

Are there in-app purchases within the gameplay? How are payments processed?

No, there are no in-app purchases directly within core gameplay phases.

All purchases are made through a dedicated in-game shop, separate from the core gameplay experience. Players can access the shop to buy optional content such as in-game currency, cosmetic items, or progression-related content (e.g., card packs).

Are there transaction fees?

Blockchain transactions on Solana have minimal fees (usually under $0.01). Standard in-game transactions have no fees.

What is included in Early Access?

All main features are available: PvP duels, full collection system, crafting, events, quests, marketplace, and the core Adventure Mode.

Will the game become paid after Early Access?

No, the game will remain free-to-play permanently.
