Why adopt the Early Access model?
Choosing the Early Access model is all about establishing a "co-creation" relationship with players. On one hand, my indie game still has room for improvement in terms of gameplay and content depth. Through Early Access, I can quickly gather players' feedback on the core mechanics, allowing the game to evolve in a direction that better meets their needs. On the other hand, as an indie developer, I am eager to build a long-term communication community with players, from gameplay concepts to art styles, so that we can exchange ideas in real time and let everyone participate in the game's growth from a "half-finished product" to a "masterpiece". For indie game developers, this "co-creation" model is the best way to make the game more vibrant.
How long will the early access state of this game last approximately?
The "early access" phase is planned to last approximately one year. As an independent developer, I need sufficient time to refine the gameplay and expand the content based on player feedback. While ensuring the quality of the final version, I also want players to be involved in shaping the growth process of the game.
How many differences are there between the full version and the early access version in the plan?
The preview version already contains the complete core content of the game, allowing players to experience it directly. In the future, we plan to "optimize details and enrich content", such as exploring and expanding the task system and spirit beast system, and at the same time, we will optimize the experience details based on player feedback.
How is the current situation of the early access version?
The current alpha version has completed the core gameplay setup, and all core functions such as map exploration, equipment acquisition and usage are ready. Players can now experience the complete basic game process. However, there is still room for improvement in terms of details, such as the interaction feedback in some scenes and the fine-tuning of equipment values. These aspects will be gradually optimized based on player feedback in the future.
Will the game price be different during the early access period and after its conclusion?
After the early access period ends, the game price will remain unchanged.
During the development process, how did you plan to involve the player community?
Taking into account the characteristics of the game's target audience, the majority of the users are Chinese gamers. For this group, I will establish an exclusive QQ group as a real-time communication channel. Players can directly provide feedback on the core gameplay (such as combat experience, map exploration) and equipment system-related issues or suggestions within the group. I will respond promptly and provide a synchronous feedback on the processing progress. For non-Chinese players, I will rely on the Epic discussion area, focusing on game optimization directions (such as map adjustments, art resource refinement) and other contents. I will regularly check and organize player opinions, integrate the feedback from players in different regions into the development process, and ensure that the community truly participates in the iteration and improvement of the game.
