What is Dremica?

Dremica is an immersive MMO RPG that integrates blockchain technology to create a unique gaming experience. Players can explore a vast fantasy dystopian world, where they can own, trade and leverage digital assets securely through blockchain technology.

How is blockchain, NFT or cryptocurrency used in Dremica?

Dremica leverages blockchain technology to provide a decentralized gaming experience using a powerful chain-agnostic tool called the Multiverse Portal, developed by Moonsama (Opens in new tab). The Multiverse Portal provides an intuitive and user-friendly interface that allows users and players to manage their blockchain-based assets such as ERC20 tokens and NFTs. You can use the Multiverse Portal for managing in-game economy (TBA).

What utility does this bring to Dremica?

Items that are minted on-chain can be imported into Dremica via the Multiverse Portal, allowing you complete flexibility and ownership of your digital assets. This includes character skins, in-game economy, weapons, and more!

Does this product require me to connect an external wallet? What wallets does this product support?

No wallet is required to play this game. Connecting external wallets and bridging items into the game is completely optional. However, you will be required to create an account on the Multiverse Portal and an external wallet if you want to import digital assets into the game. Being compatible with most EVM chains, Metamask and KILT decentralized IDs as well as most leading wallets are compatible.

Can I use the product without interacting or engaging with blockchain, NFT, or cryptocurrency?

Yes. Dremica will always be free to play. External wallets and Web3 assets are optional.

What chain does this product use? Is the chain proof-of-work or proof-of-stake?

This product is chain agnostic and supports almost all EVM-based chains.

Does this product have a marketplace? What can I do with the things that I earn (or purchase)?

Dremica does NOT have a marketplace yet. However, there are multiple NFT collections that are currently integrated into the game already. You can use them as character skins or play the game to unlock character accessories for your character, which can be universally traded/sold/gifted/lent through the Multiverse Portal.

Are there items (such as additional content, offers or currency) for sale that are used in the gameplay of your product?

Yes. However, all optional items that can be purchased will occur outside of the Epic Games Store payment mechanism.

Can your product be used without making any in-app purchases?

Yes. The game is fully playable and allows for a feature-rich experience without any additional purchases.

Are in-app purchases refundable?

There will be no in-app purchases; therefore, purchases related to any blockchain-based content cannot be refunded due to the inherent nature of blockchain technology.

What payment platform is used to facilitate these purchases? Do you use Epic Games’ platform or a 3rd-party (including your own) payment system?

All major decentralized exchanges of the player’s choice will be supported to facilitate purchases of in-game currency. NB: This is purely optional, and you should expect to experience the full game with/without any additional purchases.

Do I need a Moonsama Account to play Dremica?

Yes, you'll need a Moonsama Account to play Dremica. Don't worry though - we've made this process seamless by integrating Moonsama with Epic Games accounts. Registration at the Moonsama Portal takes just seconds, and you can simply use your existing Epic account credentials to log in and start playing right away.

Why Early Access?

Dremica is a large-scale MMO RPG with integrated multiplayer, dynamic events, and optional blockchain functionality. Early Access allows us to refine core systems such as combat, networking, and player progression with real community feedback, while continuously evolving the game world.

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

We expect Dremica to remain in Early Access for approximately 6 to 12 months, depending on the pace of community feedback and development progress. Our goal is to use this period to stabilize systems, roll out new maps and areas, and finalize the in-game economy and PvE/PvP balance.
