What is included in Early Access?

The Early Access version of EverRail includes the core gameplay loop: train driving, on foot exploration, and glider flying. It also features compelling survival-, combat- and crafting-mechanics as well as a large open world to explore. Single- and online Multiplayer is supported.

What is the current state of the game?

The game is in a solid state and already fun to play, either alone in Singleplayer or with friends in online Multiplayer. Players can drive with the train, enter dungeons for on-foot exploration including combat, and fly the glider for scouting and resource collection. Crafting and survival elements are already implemented. While some systems are still in development, the game is stable and offers several hours of engaging content.

How long will the game be in Early Access?

Once we release into Early Access, we plan EverRail to be in Early Access for 12 months. We cannot provide you with an exact date yet, as our motto is “quality over speed,” and we want to make sure the game will meet our quality standards to ensure a successful full release. Early Access allows us to expand the world, polish gameplay systems, and integrate community-driven improvements. We’ll keep players updated regularly and adjust the timeline with more specific dates as we progress.

How often will you be updating the game?

We’ll be updating regularly with new features, bug fixes, and quality-of-life improvements.

Will my progress be saved during updates?

This depends on the update. It is possible that we have to invalidate savegames or part of save games from time to time.

Will the price change when the game leaves Early Access?

Yes, we plan to increase the price after Early Access. Early supporters will benefit from a lower entry price and exclusive access to development updates, and “behind the scenes” content as a reward for joining us early and helping shape the game’s future.

Can I provide feedback and bug reports?

Yes, we will be actively engaging with our community, mainly through Discord and Trello. Players will be invited to participate in feedback surveys, vote on features, and join Q&A sessions with the dev team to make sure their voice will help shape EverRail.
