Why Early Access?
“We want Everstorm's development to be community driven. To make that happen, we want to go through an iterative Early Access process of releasing content, engaging with our community, receiving feedback and adjusting accordingly.”
Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?
“Once the game is launched, we will leave it in Early Access until the game is well balanced, polished and has a large variety of classes available. We will continue expanding the playable class pool and adjusting the core gameplay loop based on feedback throughout the duration of Early Access. We anticipate the Early Access phase to be 1 to 2 years.”
How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?
“Early Access will launch with a few classes, be unbalanced, and most likely contain bugs. Players will be able to compete in the Ranked Ladder of Season 0 during Early Access. When the full game releases, we will have all the game's main problems worked out, will have implemented tons of design changes based on community feedback and hope to have released close to 30 playable classes. Ranked Ladder Season 1 will start when the game fully releases, players will keep all their classes, cosmetics and all unlockable items, but player ranks in the ladder will reset.”
What is the current state of the Early Access version?
“We are beginning our alpha and beta testing with community members.”
Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?
“The game will will remain free to play. There will constantly be new classes and skins available for purchase. Additionally, there will be a Season Pass released for Season 0 and another new one released for Season 1. The exact price of all content is to be determined.”
