Farmion
Why Early Access?
We're launching Farmion in Early Access to improve performance, stability, and gameplay together with our players. Feedback from different PC configurations, farm sizes, and playstyles will help us identify issues, refine existing systems, and prioritise quality-of-life improvements and content additions.
We're a two-person team developing Farmion alongside full-time jobs, and we're committed to continuing development, listening to feedback, and sharing progress through updates. We aim for a short, focused Early Access period, while prioritising a stable and enjoyable 1.0 release over rushing to meet a deadline.
Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?
We’re aiming for approximately 3-6 Months in Early Access. This is an estimate, not a fixed deadline: the timing will depend on development progress and player feedback. Our priority is a stable and enjoyable release.
How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?
“We expect to work on the following:
- We will be working towards exciting new life features which will mostly be opt-in but unlock whole new gameplay mechanics and progression trees.
- Way more customization options to make the farms look nice.
- Ability to create custom content in-game using our Voxel Editor. Pending if this will be through the Steam Workshop, but that'd be excellent.
- Fully human made Voxel Art for all base game visuals. (Workshop will not be monitored)
However we're not afraid to pivot based on community feedback.”
