What is Early Access?
Early Access allows players to access and play a game before its full release, often in an incomplete or unfinished state.
It's a way for developers to get feedback from players and iterate on their game while it's still in development.
Players can participate in community-driven development and support the game's production
What is the current state of the game?
The game is still in development, a lot of the features are there but most things need optimization and refined. In addition there is currently only one POI in the starting zone, there will be a lot more POI's and things to do in space as the game develops
How long with the game be in Early Access
I am a solo developer so I am not sure there is a great answer to this but I would like to have all the POI's and current feature optimizations done within the next year, furthering that it will depend on bug reports and feature requests
How often will you be updating the game
My current update schedule has been dependent on the urgency of the bugs reported. Show stopper bugs will get fixed and released ASAP, but general releases every couple of weeks at the moment.
Will my progress be saved during updates
During the playtest updates there were some radical changes which caused save files to get corrupt, while I don't plan on making any further major changes that would affect the save file logic, these things do happen. I will try and avoid ruining everyone's progress if I can though.
Will the price change when the game leaves Early Access
Currently there are no plans to change the price once it leaves early access but that will depend on how much new content is added to the game.
Help, my character is stuck
Currently there is no "unstuck" feature, there will be plans to add this soon to aid in helping this, but for now I would advise save regularly
