Why Early Access?

We feel that Early Access is a great way to involve our community and the players to bring the best version of Funguys Swarm. Early access helped us to develop our previous game to be better and we're trying to do the same here.

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

We anticipate Funguys Swarm will remain in Early Access for approximately one year. This timeline will allow us to incorporate your feedback, expand content, and polish the game to deliver the best possible experience. However, we’ll stay flexible to ensure the game meets our quality standards before its full release.

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

We plan to include more characters, abilities, levels, and enemies. Additionally, we aim to focus on balancing, polishing the visuals and audio, and integrating community-driven enhancements. We will remain flexible and open to incorporating feedback and ideas from you, our players.

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

The Early Access version contains the core gameplay loop, which includes multiple playable characters, biomes, and abilities. Players will be able to enjoy the frantic swarm-survival experience, progress their characters, and explore the initial roster of upgrades. The game is fully playable and fun, but there are areas where, based on player feedback, we plan to expand and improve.

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

The price will be lower during Early Access. As more content and features are included, the price will grow to reflect the value in the full release.
