Besieged Pack
Besieged Pack
The ‘Besieged’ pack provides new uniform setups for both Indian and British soldiers, inspired by the defenders of Kut. The new items are indicative of a prolonged siege, with equipment taken down to the minimum, as well as empty ammo pouches. The Siege of Kut lasted nearly five months, and the inhabitants of the town began to starve as supplies ran low.
For Indian soldiers, a worn variant of the Punjabi Musulman turban, an open version of the Indian Kurta (tunic), and bare feet are included and reflective of the impact on gear and uniform items caused by harsh conditions.
A unique Pattern 1903 webbing load-out, with many pouches open and empty, is available for the Indian troops. British soldiers receive a bare-bones Pattern 1908 webbing setup, with only the essentials.
New uniform options for British soldiers include a version of the 'Greyback' shirt, worn as a vest with the sleeves cut away. A tatty Pattern 1905 cap and boots with loose socks, all of which have been well-worn during the long months of siege.
New character body variants, 'John' and 'Rahim', are included too. Dirtied and malnourished.
Accessible by all factions, this pack includes two beards, as well as a smashed pair of glasses. A trench-art pipe – with several of the battles featured in ‘Gallipoli’ carved into it, a common product from bored troops.
2x Faces for British and Indian soldiers - Named 'John' and 'Rahim', both are gaunt to reflect the trials of the siege.
2x Facial Hair for all factions - A medium-length beard and also untidy stubble.
2x Facial Accessories for all factions - A pair of smashed glasses and a trench art-inspired smoking pipe.
2x Headgear for British and Indian soldiers - A worn variant of the Punjabi Musulman turban, and an untidy version of the Pattern 05 cap.
2x Equipment for British and Indian soldiers - For Indian soldiers, a unique Pattern 1903 webbing load-out and for British soldiers, a bare-bones Pattern 1908 webbing.
2x Upper Clothing for British and Indian soldiers - An open version of the Indian Kurta (tunic), and a Greyback shirt with cutaway sleeves that is worn as a vest.
2x Lower Clothing for British and Indian soldiers - Indian soldiers can now go barefoot, whilst boots with loose socks are available for the British.
