Sunburnt Pack

The ‘Sunburnt’ pack introduces new clothing (or indeed lack of!) as options for British soldiers, based upon their experiences of fighting against the Ottoman Empire in hot climates. While the Western Front became known for its rain and mud, soldiers fighting in the Middle East experienced very different conditions.

Faced with high temperatures, many soldiers found their overseas uniform too uncomfortable to wear, so the new options for the British soldier feature the option of going completely bare-chested, save for identity discs worn around the neck. A shirt with rolled sleeves and full laced gaiters are options for the officer.

Alongside new clothing options, headgear options for the Wolseley Helmet and P1905 cap with a 'Neck Curtain', used to keep the sun off the back of your neck, are also available. For officers, the ‘Observer’ version of the Sam Browne officer gear, showcasing a leather cased signallers telescope. The infantry receive a version of the Pattern 1903 webbing set with an additional water canteen.

A new character body variant, 'Albert', is included too. Showing signs of painful sunburn and dehydration.

Accessible by all factions, this pack also includes access to the famous ‘Kitchener’ and 'French' moustaches, motorist goggles, and a smoking pipe.
