🐾 Vivid Companion Experience
They are more than just animated images. Each pet features a unique personality and mood system. When they are happy, the halo above their head glows with a warm gold; if you ignore them for a long time, the halo gradually fades. They chase your mouse cursor, stroll along window edges, and quietly keep you company while you work.

💞 Multi-Pet Relationship System
Multiple pets will form complex relationships with each other (family, lovers, best friends, rivals, etc.). Affection levels naturally increase or decrease with interactions. Pets with strong bonds may even walk towards each other to start exclusive conversations on their own, without you needing to drag them.

🎮 Unobtrusive & Considerate
Built-in fullscreen game detection. When you launch a game, pets, effects, and cursors automatically pause rendering and interactions to reduce system resource usage; once you exit the game, they quietly return to your desktop.

✨ Immersive Visual Customization
Includes built-in full-screen dynamic lighting and environmental scenes (such as dusk, night, morning, and rainy days). You can import your own GIFs or image sequences to create custom click effects, or change dynamic mouse cursors so every click gets a response.

📦 Pure Local Data & Sharing
No cloud syncing or forced internet connection required. You can pack your carefully raised pets into .gqpet files to share with friends, or import other players' bundles to experience their unique pet stories.

【Privacy & Security】
We understand the importance of desktop software security. Here is how GuangQi works under the hood:

Global Mouse Hook: Used solely to render click effects on the screen and trigger pet interactions. We do not persist or upload your mouse tracking data; it is used strictly in real-time memory for effects and interactions. We absolutely do not capture or record any of your keyboard inputs.

Microphone Access: Disabled by default and requires manual activation. Used exclusively to locally analyze peak volume levels via WASAPI (allowing pet halos to "breathe" with sound). It does not record, store, or upload any audio data.

Buy-to-Play: One-time purchase, no microtransactions, no ads, no subscriptions; future updates will be detailed on the store page.

"GuangQi" began as a young indie developer's passion for desktop customization. From simply wanting to make the mouse look better to now building a desktop ecosystem complete with emotions and social systems, I hope to bring you a moment of comfort and healing in this fast-paced digital world.
