Does Heroes and Forsaken include in-app purchases and what do they do?
Yes. Heroes and Forsaken has optional in-app purchases, and they are cosmetic: Leader skins, boards, card backs, emotes, profile items, bundles of these, and a cosmetic season pass. Every item in the shop is labelled "Cosmetic. No effect on play." Nothing that affects how you play is for sale, nothing random is sold (chests are earned by playing and are never for sale), and money cannot buy Threads, the currency you earn by playing.
Can your product be used without making any in-app purchases?
Yes. Heroes and Forsaken is free to play. You unlock every card by playing matches, and nothing in the shop is needed to play or to progress.
Are in-app purchases refundable?

What payment platform is used to facilitate these purchases?
Purchases in the Epic Games Store version of the game are processed by Epic's payment platform through Epic Games Store checkout. We do not use any other payment provider for these purchases.
Is this pay to win?
No. Nothing that affects play is for sale. The shop sells cosmetics only, and money cannot buy Threads.
When will the game be released?
No release date has been announced yet. Wishlist Heroes and Forsaken on the Epic Games Store to follow the game.
What is the current state of the game?
Heroes and Forsaken is in development. We are building a story campaign, 1v1 and 2v2 matches, and Solo and Duo Ranked with seasons and leaderboards. All of it is planned for launch. We will share more on this page and on our website as launch gets closer.
Which platforms are planned?
PC, Android and iOS are planned, with cross-play between PC and mobile. Cross-play is still in development.
Will my progress carry across platforms?
Shared progression across PC and mobile is planned, so you can continue where you left off when you switch platforms.
Do I need to be online?
Yes. Your progression and matches against other players need an internet connection.
Does the game use crypto, NFTs or blockchain?
No. Heroes and Forsaken has no cryptocurrency, NFT or blockchain features, and we have no plans to add them.
