Can I play MetaDOS without making any in-game purchases?

Absolutely. Our game is designed to be completely free to play, ensuring that everyone can enjoy it without the need for in-app purchases.

All in-game purchases are optional. You can experience the full gameplay without making any in-game purchases.

Can I use the product without interacting or engaging with blockchain, NFT, or cryptocurrency?

Yes! Everyone can join the game, rewards can be earned via gameplay. Not all in-game items in MetaDOS are NFTs or are on the blockchain.

How is blockchain, NFT, or cryptocurrency used in MetaDOS?

MetaDOS uses blockchain to let players truly own and track their in-game items and purchases. This allows you as a player to control your inventory and, if you choose to, sell these digital collectables on the Marketplace. You can use those funds to purchase more cosmetics, exclusive item or you can receive fiat currency.

Does MetaDOS require me to connect an external wallet?

You are not required to connect to an external wallet to play MetaDOS, just only DOSMe account.

You do not need to create a second account to access the Marketplace, so your account for DOSMe will be enough.

What chain does this product use? Is the chain proof-of-work or proof-of-stake?

MetaDOS was developed on an Avalanche subnet, named DOS Chain, due to its usability, accessibility, and security features. DOS Chain enables MetaDOS to provide best-in-class performance with its unique subnet architecture, innovative Snowman consensus, and unparalleled safety guarantees.

With DOS’s sub one-second settlement time and zero transaction fees, MetaDOS can ensure a great user experience across our platform.

Does MetaDOS have a marketplace? What can I do with the things that I earn (or purchase)?

Currently, in our alpha stages, we don't have an in-game marketplace for players to buy items. However in the future, we are building our own marketplace on a website called Overmint (which will be accessible via web browsers). You can, optionally, buy and sell the NFT items that you have earned (or purchased) with zero transaction fee.
