Why Early Access?
We went to take the proper time to polish and fix any bugs to make sure the game is ready for final release.
We also want to have many community suggested requests and feedback implemented.
We also plan on adding a new feature which will bring new and exciting content to make the current questline more interesting and variated.
How long will this game be in Early Access?
There is no definite answer, but our intent is to remain in Early Access for about 6 months. Of course, we will emerge from Early Access once we and our players are satisfied that we've got a great game to launch into 1.0. And of course, 1.0 won't be the end of development either!
How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?
We plan to:
Improve the core gameplay loop with bug fixes, polish, and improvements
Implement and adjust features and content in the game based on community feedback (while still keeping our vision in mind)
Add a new major feature which will bring new and exciting content to make the current questline more interesting and variated.
Optimize and continue to improve the game's performance and overall appearance.
What is the current state of the Early Access version?
The game is entirely playable, all of the core features are completed and there is plenty of content for players to enjoy playing. 10h+ gameplay time for the Ages: Manual scenario or 30h+ for the Ages: Machines scenario
All of the content and features listed in the 'About This Game' section below are available in the current state of Early Access, which constitutes Age 0, Age 1, and Age 2 of the game.
Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?
We plan to higher the price, it might be during EA or when we launch out of EA, we are not sure yet.
How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?
Our plan is to be active in a variety of places including Discord, Steam Forums, and Social Media. However, the Outerverse Discord will be the primary hub for player discussion, feedback, and bug reporting. We plan to squash bugs and review new ideas and suggestions throughout development.
