How is blockchain, on-chain items, and cryptocurrency used in this product?

Certain in-game assets—specifically your dogs, dog equipment, and tank parts, are stored on-chain once earned, making them player-owned digital items.

Additionally, there is a blockchain-based resource called KOBAN. Players can earn KOBAN through in-game events or trade it externally. This resource can be stockpiled to power a helicopter that delivers supplies or exchanged for gems, the premium currency used in the in-game shop.

What utility does this bring to the product?

This feature gives players true ownership of their in-game items, allowing them to freely trade or gift them. Players can send items to friends or sell them on third-party marketplaces outside of our ecosystem, enabling a player-driven economy.

Does this product require me to connect an external wallet? What wallets does this product support?

No, Panzerdogs does not require a third-party wallet to play. Every player automatically receives a wallet behind the scenes when they create an account. Any on-chain items earned will be stored in this internal wallet by default.

If a user chooses to connect an external wallet, all earned on-chain assets will be migrated to it, and future transactions will be verified through that wallet.

Currently, we support wallet connections via Mysten Labs' Slush Wallet (formerly known as ZKWallet).

Can I use the product without interacting or engaging with blockchain, on-chain Items, or cryptocurrency?

Yes, you can play the full game without consciously engaging with any blockchain features. While certain items are still stored on-chain behind the scenes, they function like traditional cloud-saved data tied to your account. Unless you choose to connect an external wallet, these items remain non-tradable and are managed entirely within the game.

What chain does this product use? Is the chain proof-of-work or proof-of-stake?

Panzerdogs runs on the Sui blockchain, a modern and highly energy efficient Proof-of-Stake network designed for fast, low-cost transactions and scalability.

Does this product have a marketplace? What can I do with the things that I earn (or purchase)?

There is currently no in-game marketplace. However, you can transfer your earned or purchased items to an external wallet and trade them with friends or sell them on third-party marketplaces. This gives players the option to recoup some of their costs or participate in the broader ecosystem if they choose to.

Are there in-app purchases within the gameplay? How are payments processed?

There are currently no in-app purchases available through the Epic Games Store. To acquire gems, you’ll need to obtain KOBAN tokens, which can be earned through in-game events or traded externally. Gems are then exchanged using KOBAN within the game.
