Pixelshire
Is Pixelshire available to play now?
No. Pixelshire’s Epic Games Store page is currently available for wishlisting only. There is no downloadable build, demo, or Early Access version available yet.
An Early Access release date will be announced when the game reaches the required level of quality and stability.
Why is Pixelshire entering Early Access?
Early Access provides the right framework to rework existing systems, improve stability, expand the available content, and develop the game transparently with player feedback.
What is included in Early Access?
Pixelshire’s core gameplay world and story are already established, but several systems are currently being fixed, reworked, balanced, and expanded.
The Early Access version will be playable, but players should expect unfinished content, balance changes, occasional bugs, and features that may evolve throughout development.
What content is planned for the Early Access release?
The Early Access version is planned to include Pixelshire’s main gameplay systems:
- Farming and seasonal crops
- Livestock raising
- Terraforming and landscape customization
- Town planning and resident house placement
- Mining, woodcutting, fishing, cooking, brewing, and crafting
- Skills, talents, and magic
- Story quests and relationships with Pixelshire’s residents
- The “Follow Me” companion system
- Exploration, combat, and mines.
Approximately how long will Pixelshire remain in Early Access?
There is currently no fixed duration.
Pixelshire will leave Early Access when its major reworks, planned content, stability improvements, and overall polish meet the standard expected for the full release. Quality and player feedback will determine the timeline rather than a fixed deadline.
How will the full version differ from the Early Access version?
The full version is planned to provide a more complete, stable, balanced, and polished experience.
How frequently will the game receive updates?
Every month after Early Access release.
Updates will be released when their content has been properly implemented and tested. Smaller fixes may arrive between larger content updates.
Patch notes will explain the changes included in every public update.
Will the price change during or after Early Access?
The Early Access price will reflect the game’s development state when it becomes available.
The final price for version 1.0 has not yet been decided. If the price changes as substantial content is added or when the game approaches full release, the change will be announced in advance.
Will I have access to the product during the entire Early Access phase?
Yes
Will purchasing the Early Access version include the full release?
Yes. Anyone who purchases Pixelshire during Early Access will receive the full version when it is released without needing to purchase the base game again.
Will saved progress carry across updates and into version 1.0?
Maintaining save compatibility throughout Early Access is the goal.
However, because some systems are undergoing significant changes, save compatibility cannot be guaranteed for every update. If an update requires players to begin a new save, this will be communicated in advance whenever possible.
Compatibility with saves created using older versions of Pixelshire is also not guaranteed.
Is Pixelshire single-player or multiplayer?
Pixelshire is designed as a single-player experience. Multiplayer and online co-op are not currently planned.
The “Follow Me” system allows certain townsfolk to accompany the player and assist with gathering, tasks, and adventures, but these companions are NPCs rather than other players.
Does Pixelshire support controllers?
Pixelshire is planned to support both mouse and keyboard and compatible game controllers.
Will Pixelshire include achievements?
Achievement support is planned. The final achievement set may change during Early Access as systems and content are expanded.
Will there be a public roadmap?
There is no public roadmap at this time.
The main priorities are stability, gameplay improvements, bug fixing, quality-of-life changes, and suggestions based on player feedback.
Additional features and planned updates will be shared once they are sufficiently confirmed, avoiding promises or release dates before there is confidence they can be delivered properly.
How can players provide feedback or report bugs?
Players will be able to provide feedback and report problems through Pixelshire’s official community and support channels.
Useful bug reports should include the game version, a description of what happened, steps that reproduce the problem, and screenshots or save files when relevant.
Who develops and publishes Pixelshire?
Pixelshire is created, developed and published by Kappa Bits Games.
