What is included in Early Access?
Early Access launches with full solo playability, including the tutorial and main island. Players will have access to all core features from the franchise, such as progression systems, item collection, property acquisition, and vehicle ownership and driving. This title also introduces new mechanics, including crop harvesting and job activities.
What is the current state of the product?
Poly Plaza 2 is currently in Early Access and fully playable in solo. The build includes the tutorial, the main island, and all core systems carried over from the Poly Plaza franchise: character progression, item collection, property acquisition, and vehicle ownership and driving. This title also introduces two new mechanics, crop harvesting and job activities, which are live in the current build.
Multiplayer, additional islands, and expanded content are in active development and will be rolled out through regular updates during Early Access. We're shipping iteratively and shaping the roadmap based on player feedback from the community.
Will I have access to the product during the entire Early Access phase?
Yes. Purchasing Poly Plaza 2 during Early Access grants you permanent access to the game, including all updates released throughout the Early Access phase and the full 1.0 release at no additional cost.
Solo play will be available at all times during Early Access. Multiplayer is still in active development and will not be continuously available during this phase, access will depend on our development timeline, and testing windows may open and close as we iterate. We don't have specific dates to share for multiplayer availability yet, as the feature isn't ready. We'll communicate openly through our usual channels whenever multiplayer sessions go live or come down for further work.
How long is the product in Early Access?
We're planning approximately 6 months in Early Access, with a target 1.0 release in the second half of 2026. This timeline gives us the runway to complete multiplayer, expand content, and incorporate community feedback before full launch.
That said, our priority is shipping a polished and complete experience. If we need additional time to deliver the quality players expect, we'll extend Early Access rather than rush the 1.0 release, and we'll communicate any timeline changes openly.
How often do you update the product?
Our minimum commitment is at least one update per month throughout Early Access. That said, we're currently aiming for a weekly update cadence, which reflects our studio's broader philosophy of shipping frequently and iterating in close collaboration with the community.
Updates will include a mix of new content, feature additions, balance changes, and bug fixes. We'll share patch notes for every release so players can follow exactly what's changing and why.
Is my progress saved between updates?
Yes. Save progress is preserved across updates throughout Early Access, so you can keep building and progressing as the game evolves.
In rare cases, major systems changes may require a save reset or migration. If this happens, we'll communicate it clearly in advance through our patch notes and community channels, and we'll do our best to minimize disruption.
Will the price change when the product leaves Early Access?
The price may increase when Poly Plaza 2 leaves Early Access and reaches 1.0. Players who purchase during Early Access will lock in the current price and receive the full 1.0 release at no additional cost.
Can I provide feedback and bug reports?
Yes, player feedback is a core part of our Early Access process. There are three ways to share feedback and report bugs:
Our Discord server at discord.gg/vgs, where you can talk directly with the team and the community.
Our website at victorgamestudio.com.
VGS HUB, our desktop app, which includes built-in feedback and bug reporting tools.
We read everything that comes in and use it to shape the roadmap, prioritize fixes, and refine the game throughout Early Access.
