What is Quantum Frame?

Quantum Frame is a multiplayer PvP/PvE sci-fi action game where players embody immortal "Quantum Souls" capable of possessing and controlling cybernetic entities, such as suits, vehicles, and other machines. These entities normally remain inert until animated by a Quantum Soul, allowing for dynamic and strategic gameplay.

Does Quantum Frame have a story with lore and factions?

Yes. Quantum Frame features a rich, interconnected lore spanning multiple factions, worlds, and dimensions. Players will uncover these narrative elements organically through gameplay, exploration, and achievements.

Will Quantum Frame receive regular updates and new content?

Can I play Quantum Frame without engaging with blockchain, NFTs, or cryptocurrency?

Yes. Quantum Frame does not require external wallet integration to play. Players without linked wallets will have access to a selection of gameplay features and items, although certain exclusive characters, weapons, and cosmetics will only be accessible through asset ownership.

Does Quantum Frame have an in-game marketplace? What chains are supported?

How does Quantum Frame use blockchain and NFTs?

Quantum Frame uses NFTs to represent a large selection of in-game assets. For example, ownership of items like the Cyber Clone character or the Chrome Cannon weapon is tied to specific NFTs.
Enhanced NFTs feature persistent stat tracking directly embedded into the NFT’s metadata. If an NFT weapon accumulates achievements (e.g., 100 eliminations), these stats are permanently attached and transfer with the item when sold or traded to other players.

Does Quantum Frame have its own blockchain or token?

No. Quantum Frame utilizes existing decentralized blockchains — Ethereum, Taiko, and Loopring (with more to come) — and does not operate its own token (yet) or proprietary chain. Players trade using ETH, TAIKO, or LRC, depending on the marketplace.

Why use blockchain at all?

Quantum Frame embraces blockchain technology to empower true player ownership. All NFTs representing in-game assets — and their accumulated stats — are permanently recorded on-chain, outside of developer control. Players retain full freedom to trade, sell, or gift their items through decentralized marketplaces, or person-to-person, without risk of server-based loss.

What is included in Early Access?

Early Access includes multiplayer lobbies with several multiplayer maps, a single player map where you can drive vehicles, and the ability to customize your character with owned assets.

What is the current state of the game?

The game is in a strong state for being early, with the ability to play with friends across many multiplayer maps, but we have not released the story mode or customizable homes, yet, as they are still being developed.

How long will the game be in Early Access?

Until January 2026.

How often will you be updating the game?

We will have seasonal updates, quarterly updates, and several updates in between as we continually expand the game.

Will my progress be saved during updates?

Yes, progress will be saved between updates, but Early Access will not save player progress as progression is not released yet.

Will the price change when the game leaves Early Access?

No, Quantum Frame's base price will always be free.
