Why Early Access?

We want to refine ship combat, power-grid tactics, objective readability and balance with player feedback. Early Access will help us improve performance, reliability and usability while the game continues to develop.

How long will the game be in Early Access?

We have not committed to a full-release date. Development will be guided by the quality of the game and feedback from players. We will communicate progress and changes through the Community portal and release notes.

How will the full version differ from Early Access?

Our goal is a more polished and reliable version of the core ship-combat and power-grid game, with improvements to balance, bots, arenas and usability. Further features are still being evaluated. Purchase decisions should be based on the features available in the release build.

What is the current state of the game?

The development build contains ship combat with plasma, a sustained beam and ordnance; connected relay-tower objectives and enemy hangars; seven authored arenas; and bots. We are preparing the customer release. Available online and local modes, account access, system requirements, progression rules and known limitations will be confirmed before purchase.

Will the price change during or after Early Access?

The planned UK Early Access price is £25. Regional prices will be confirmed in the store before purchase. We have not committed to a full-release price increase. Any future pricing changes will be communicated.

How can the community take part?

Players can share bug reports and gameplay feedback through the Sci-Fi Space Battle Community portal. Reports about controls, combat readability, balance and reliability will help us decide what to improve next. Public support information will be available from the store’s support link.

Does the game use AI-generated content?

Some pre-produced music and artwork were created with generative AI tools, including music and fictional in-game billboard artwork. The game does not generate content with AI during play. Procedural arena and ship geometry are built by code.

Will I have access to the product during the entire Early Access phase?

Yes. Once Sci-Fi Space Battle launches in Early Access, purchasing the game gives you access throughout the entire Early Access phase. Updates released as part of Early Access are included in your purchase. Online play may be temporarily unavailable during maintenance, updates or service interruptions.
